Ask a Question A fun and hands-on intro to the amber-lit world of the silver-gelatin wet darkroom print. Join us we learn to mix our chemicals and make a contact print, load our negative into the enlarger, adjust the print size, choose an exposure by making a test strip, adjust your tones through contrast filters and dodging and burning, and finally making a beautiful master print. Caution: the thrill of developing your own Prints is so addictive you may find yourself wanting to make your own enlargements in the darkroom ALL THE TIME! Students are encouraged to bring their own black & white negative to print, but we will also provide negatives or take our Film Developing 101 class and make your own! :).  This is a casual and fun class that provides lots of hands on time with the equipment, you will learn a lot! We recommend this class or our Darkroom 101: Film Developing Class for those folks new to the darkroom or returning to the darkroom after a long absence.  We also recommend comfortable shoes. Approximately 3.5 hours. Materials are included.
